Key Duties:

• Design and develop responsive websites and web applications, ensuring optimal performance across a variety of devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces and enhance overall user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend languages like PHP, Python, or Ruby.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure functionality and security.
• Maintain and update existing websites and applications, applying best practices for performance optimisation and security measures.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve skills and project outcomes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., PHP, Node.js, Python).
• Experience with web development frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js) and content management systems (like WordPress or Drupal) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is beneficial.

Professional Background:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a BPO or similar.
• Previous experience in web development, software engineering, or a similar technical role is required.
• Relevant certifications in web development or programming languages are a plus.
